Serving Washington State and the Pacific Northwest with RV Towing & Heavy-Duty Recovery

Spring is here, and for RV owners across Washington State, it means it’s almost time to hit the road. But before your first trip of the season, it’s important to make sure your motorhome is ready to go. After sitting parked all winter, it might need a little service.

We’ve already had a few RV towing jobs this spring. In one incident in particular, the RV was stuck in place and needed our help getting it to the dealership for service.

When RV Towing Saves the Day

Recently, Pro-Tow by FleetEasy helped a customer with a Jayco Melbourne Prestige motorhome that was stuck in a tight-fitting garage. To make matters more complicated, the transmission was locked, and the wheels wouldn’t roll.

Our experienced operator assessed the situation and got to work. First, they removed the driveline to prevent damage during the tow. Then, using a combination of a winch and wheel grids, they carefully maneuvered the motorhome out of the carport without damaging the vehicle or the property.

The job was quick and painless, and the customer was happy.

Experience Makes a Difference for Heavy-Duty Towing

Towing a motorhome is very different from towing a regular vehicle. For starters, RVs are much larger and heavier, which means they require specialized heavy-duty towing equipment and experienced operators who understand weight distribution and balance.

In addition, many motorhomes have complex drivetrains and sensitive components that can be damaged if they’re not handled properly. Situations like low ground clearance or tight access points add another layer of difficulty. That’s why RV towing requires careful planning, the right tools, and the expertise to move the vehicle safely without causing damage.

Getting Your RV Road-Trip Ready

As travel season approaches, many RV owners are pulling their vehicles out of storage for the first time in months. It’s common to run into issues like dead batteries, mechanical problems, or systems that need attention.
