Safely Transporting a Classic 1989 Chevrolet Corvette
Recently, our team was called to transport a beautiful red 1989 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. Like many classic vehicles, this Corvette needed a little TLC. Its low ride height, aging components, and collectible value (plus sentimental value to the owner) required extra attention during every step of the process.
Our operator arrived on scene with a flatbed tow truck, the preferred method for transporting specialty vehicles. Unlike wheel-lift towing, a flatbed keeps all four wheels off the road, reducing wear and eliminating unnecessary stress on the suspension and drivetrain during transport.
Before loading the Corvette, the operator carefully assessed the vehicle and selected the safest loading method.
