On July 20, 2025, Team Pro-Tow in Spokane responded to a call unlike most others. A Ford F-550 fire brush rig, actively working near the Spokane Long Lake Fire at 7262 Washington Highway 291 in Tumtum, WA, got a flat tire in the middle of battling the wildfire.
With flames burning across the hillsides and emergency crews working tirelessly to contain the nearly 1,000-acre blaze, a quick and cautious response was critical.

Responding in Extreme Conditions
When the dispatch came in, our technician headed straight to the scene. It was before dawn, and they needed to go within a mile and a half of the active fire zone. Safety was top of mind for both the fire crews and our technician, with our dispatch team monitoring communication to help ensure their safety. The environment was unpredictable, with smoke, heat, and fire fighting efforts underway.
Once on-site, our team lifted the Ford F-550 brush rig with the B308, removed the damaged outer driver-side dual tire, and installed the spare. It was a quick and easy flat tire service, despite the circumstances. Within a short time, the rig was back in service, ready to continue fighting that fire and help keep our Spokane community safe.
