Vehicle Release

If you’ve been notified that your vehicle has been impounded in one of our lots, please read our Vehicle Release Rules and Requirements about getting your vehicle. Please note that redemption procedures for impounded vehicles are in strict accordance with RCW Title 46.55.120. While there are many requirements, here’s what you’ll need to pick up your vehicle:

• • You must be the registered or legal owner of record, as listed by the Washington Department of Licensing.
  • You must have an approved government-issued photo identification, and the ID must be current within 90 days.
  • You must have a valid Washington State driver’s license.
  • If your vehicle was placed on hold by a police department, you must get a court release before you can get your vehicle.
  • All fees must be paid for in advance, including applicable towing and impound fees, before arriving at the yard to retrieve your vehicle.
